The primary purpose of the position is to manage marcom for all PulseR products.  Additional responsibilities include web-site, data sheet generation, part number assignment, trade show and marketing quoting support while adhering to the margin goals for the company.

INTERNAL:              Various departments within PulseR.

EXTERNAL:            May be required to interface with customers and occasionally travel.

The most challenging aspect of the job is to learn the products, customers and target markets. . 

Position Responsibilities 

All Marcom activity: Website admin, maintain company website through dedicated CMS, create media content, distribute press releases, short form and other catalogs, datasheets, presentations, and other marketing materials as necessary.

Sales/Application Support: Support Sales and Customer Service organizations with technical marketing support information. Assist in product training seminars and product launch presentations.

Strategic Marketing: Provide product roadmap for all catalog development programs for the division. Investigate market needs and determine product requirements for new development efforts.

Tactical Marketing: Implement marketing plans for catalog products (such as data sheets, application notes, press releases, direct mailers, advertisements and banners.) Maintain, pricing schedules and price quotes consistent with market demands and gross margin requirements. Prepare montly status reports of marketing activities.

Quotes: Individual responsibilities to include: Coordinate the quoting activity for the company to meet required customer trunaround time. Analyze historical data warehouse data to determine if pricing decision can be independtely made without the help of the Product/Product Line Manager. Using the provided  analysis tools and individual judgement, determine and provide pricing on all non-catalog quotes. Coordinate and provide Product/Product Line Managers with the necessary data for those quotes needing review/approval (mainly new products with limited quote/sales history).

New Product Development: Coordinate with Program Management/Engineering for introduction of new products from preliminary product approval to full launched production. Participate in design reviews, sample requests, customer verification and request opprtunity stock to support early market demand.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION:  High School diploma minimum, BS/BA degree a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Two to four years work experience in marketing for a manufacturing company

KNOWLEDGE:       Proven ability to understand market trends and creatively multi-task many priorities in an effective manner

SKILLS:                  Computer literate with MS Office products including Powerpoint, Word, Access and Excel. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photo Shop, Knowledge of MySQL database systems, Website Admin – not a program but the administrator for the website, Mail Chimp – mass emails for Press Releases, Sales Force, SAP, Birst and SAP/PLM.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Well organized, detail orientated with strong interpersonal skills required.
